Ron Artest, the LA Lakers star famous for sparking one of the most notorious brawls in NBA history is legally changing his name to Metta World Peace. According to several website reports, Artest's attorney filed a petition in Los Angeles Superior Court on Thursday seeking the change.
But the 31-year-old is more famous for copping a 73-game suspension in 2004 when, playing for the Indiana Pacers, he was involved in a brawl with Detroit Pistons players and fans.
