She was just trying to be a good daughter!

Undoubtedly the first time Maurice Kirchberg held his daughter Pia 51 years ago, he looked down at the baby girl and thought, Someday, when I'm old and gray and completely devoid of sex, this baby girl will buy me a prostitute. Nothing quite cements that father-daughter bond like a lady buying a hooker for her dear old dad.

According to Tampa's ABC affiliate, 51-year-old Pia Kirchberg offered a prostitute a mere $20 to get it on with her 80-year-old father Maurice. Which, really, is just an insult to the fine profession of prostitution. A real prostitute would take nothing less than 100 roses an hour. Kirchberg was out looking in an area of town known for prostitution.

Unfortunately for her, Kirchberg wasn't dealing with a real prostitute, but an undercover officer who was part of a sting.

Strangest sentencing of the week: Lindsay Lohan to be janitor at LA morgue

Actress Lindsay Lohan will serve as a janitor at the Los Angeles morgue as part of 480 hours of community service imposed on her for probation violations, US daily Los Angeles Times reported on Monday.

Lohan was sentenced last Friday to 120 days in jail and 480 hours of community service after a judge found probable cause to move forward on charges that she stole a necklace worth 2,500 from a Los Angeles jeweler store.

The troubled actress will serve 75 percent of the 480 hours of community service imposed on her at a homeless women's center and 120 hours as a janitor at the Los Angeles coroner's office.

Hide yo' kids, hide yo' wife, hide yo' pot?

Huntsville police just confirmed that YouTube sensation Antoine Dodson was arrested early this morning for misdemeanor marijuana possession.

Police said the 24-year-old Dodson, who rocketed to Internet stardom when a New York songwriting duo stumbled across his televised rant about an alleged rapist, was pulled over at 1:57 a.m. near University Drive and Arctic Street. That's near the Northwoods public housing development.

According to the Madison County Sheriff's Office website, Dodson was booked into the county jail at 2:29 a.m. today. Police spokesman Harry Hobbs said he was released after posting a $1,340 cash bond.

Here's the story we talked about this morning!

A 19-year-old "American Idol" studio audience member claims that she was barred from a front-row seat and told it was because of her weight, an allegation denied by the show's production company.

Ashley Kauffman, of Riverside, Calif., had complained to an audience coordinator at last Thursday's show that she was separated from friends who did get front-row seats, according to Manfred Westphal, a spokesman for producer FremantleMedia North America.

The allegations are "simply untrue," Westphal said Tuesday.

Here's the controversial ad we talked about this morning

A controversy has bubbled up over a photo spread in the most recent J. Crew catalogue. Under the caption "Saturday with Jenna" the company's president and creative director Jenna Lyons is pictured laughing with her 5-year-old son Beckett, holding his little feet in her hand. A bottle of hot pink Essie nail polish is pictured below them.

“Lucky for me I ended up with a boy whose favorite color is pink,” reads the caption. “Toenail painting is so much more fun in neon.”

To some the photo depicts a sweet moment between a stylish mom and her equally stylish son. To others, however, it reads as a questionable endorsement of parental support of transgendered or gender-neutral children.

Kobe Bryant's $100,000 Comment

The NBA fined Kobe Bryant $100,000 on Wednesday for using a derogatory gay term in frustration over a referee's call.

NBA Commissioner David Stern issued a swift disciplinary ruling after the Los Angeles Lakers' five-time NBA champion guard cursed and used the homophobic slur when referee Bennie Adams called a technical foul on him Tuesday night in the third quarter of a victory over the San Antonio Spurs.

“Kobe Bryant's comment during last night's game was offensive and inexcusable,” Stern said. “While I'm fully aware that basketball is an emotional game, such a distasteful term should never be tolerated. ... Kobe and everyone associated with the NBA know that insensitive or derogatory comments are not acceptable and have no place in our game or society.”

Mandatory school lunches?

A Chicago public school is banning homemade lunches according to the Chicago Tribune.

Homemade lunches need to stay at home. School lunch is going to be mandatory at Chicago’s Little Village Academy public k-8 school.

The reasoning behind the movement is that with the new lunch program the school is guaranteed to provide healthy meals without running the risk of children bringing sugary treats and salty chips from home. The complete overhaul was brought about by many schools across the nation being put under heat for not providing healthy lunches for their students.

A Legend Gets His Ring Back

When Tracy Forrest overheard her 10-year-old son Cliff on the phone trying to explain to someone that he wanted to give William Perry his Super Bowl XX ring back, she could tell Cliff was having a hard time being believed.

After all, what 10-year-old would give away something like a Super Bowl ring for nothing?

"He said Perry lost the ring through hard times, and that he only had one ring. He said, 'I want him to have the ring back.' That's pretty special for a 10-year-old to want to do that."

Cliff used money he had been saving for college to purchase the ring after seeing it at Mickey Mantle's restaurant and sports bar in New York City. The establishment also has a sports memorabilia section. Cliff Forrest Sr., who owns Rosebud Mining Company in Pittsburgh, said the ring was purchased for $8,500.

"It's what I wanted to do. When I Googled Mr. Perry after I got the ring, I saw he had the disease and went through rough times. And I thought he needed it more than I did."

Charlie Sheen, no longer winning?

Charlie's "Torpedo of Truth" is all but blowing him out of the water in New York.

On the heels of Charlie Sheen's disastrous debut in Detroit, which was marked by boos and catcalls Saturday night, scalpers have stooped to seeking bargain-basement prices in a bid to dump thousands of tickets for his Radio City Music Hall gig this week.

As of yesterday, more than 2,800 tickets were still available on Stubhub.com for Sheen's shows on Friday and Sunday nights.

The prices had already dropped last week -- but after his debacle in Detroit, they plummeted even more.
