John Travolta can't even get a table at KFC!

John Travolta was denied a table at a KFC according to UK reports.

A report in Britain's Metro newspaper claimed one of the actor’s staff called the outlet in East Grinstead in advance, in the hope of reserving a special table for Travolta.

"To me, customers are customers, no matter who they are. The lady who called didn't give me her name, she just said it will be for a Mr Travolta," said the employee, who did not want to be named.

"I thought it might be a load of nonsense. In hindsight, of course, we would have reserved a table for him," he said. "It's not every day you get a Hollywood star eating in your restaurant."

Say what you will about Cleveland, but they've turned beer into ice cream!

Mitchell's Ice Cream and Great Lakes Brewing have teamed up for... wait for it... Christmas Ale Ginger Snap ice cream.

The new flavor will incorporate residual Great Lakes Christmas Ale that’s leftover from the bottling process, as well as local honey and homemade ginger snaps.

Christmas Ale Ginger Snap will be released on Nov. 1 and can be found at Mitchell’s five locations in Northeast Ohio. The cinnamon-seasoned ice cream can also be purchased for dessert and in to-go pints at Great Lakes Brewery.

Givin' the old college try!

A Coconut Creek man accused of posing as a doctor and offering free door-to-door breast exams has reached a deal with prosecutors, lawyers told a Broward judge on Tuesday.

Phillip Winikoff, 81, was accused in April 2006 of carrying on the ruse with women at an apartment complex in the 3200 block of Northwest 40 Street in Lauderdale Lakes. Investigators said two women took Winikoff up on the offer, allowed him into their apartments and realized something was amiss only after the exams started.

Winikoff was charged with three counts of sexual battery, two counts of practicing medicine without a license, two counts of simple battery, and one count of using the title of doctor without a license.

If tried and convicted, he could have been sentenced to more than 45 years in prison for the sexual battery charges and another 10 years for practicing medicine without a license.
