Guitar Hero Christmas!

Nude flying?!

Hands up (and pants down) if you want to fly on a nudie airline?

Americans are clearly ahead of the pack here, with 79 per cent of them saying they'd fly on a nudist airline, were one known to be operational. (Those who think Richard Branson is the obvious man for the job here clearly haven't countenanced the thought of Sir Dick in his birthday suit grinning insanely from Naked Virgin billboards).

In an entirely unscientific survey conducted by Trip Advisor, nearly four in five of the 22,091 respondents said they were willing to get their gear off when high in the sky, if it meant that other people on the flight would also be under-dressed

Think twice before you steal that car!

A would-be carjacking suspect messed with the wrong guy.

Bishop Thornton allegedly jiggled the handles of several locked cars in the 700 block of Franklin Avenue, Davenport, last weekend before he came to an unlocked one belonging to Justin Tincher’s girlfriend. The 2002 Ford Focus was parked in front of Tincher’s house.

When Tincher saw the attempted theft in progress, he bolted out of his house without socks, shoes or a shirt, chased Thornton down Franklin Avenue, tackled the 19-year-old East Moline man and had him pinned until police arrived.

Tincher, 23, is a former mixed martial arts fighter.

“I don’t take kindly to people messing with my house, my girlfriend or my family,” Tincher said last week

2011 wasn't such an easy year for some!

A feelgood holiday story!

The young father stood in line at the Kmart layaway counter, wearing dirty clothes and worn-out boots. With him were three small children.

He asked to pay something on his bill because he knew he wouldn't be able to afford it all before Christmas. Then a mysterious woman stepped up to the counter.

"She told him, 'No, I'm paying for it,'" recalled Edna Deppe, assistant manager at the store in Indianapolis. "He just stood there and looked at her and then looked at me and asked if it was a joke. I told him it wasn't, and that she was going to pay for him. And he just busted out in tears."

At Kmart stores across the country, Santa seems to be getting some help: Anonymous donors are paying off strangers' layaway accounts, buying the Christmas gifts other families couldn't afford, especially toys and children's clothes set aside by impoverished parents.

Borat as Freddie Mercury?

The Queen biopic starring Sacha Baron Cohen will be called Mercury.

The Bruno star had been confirmed to play frontman Freddie Mercury, but the title of the film had been the subject of much debate.

Producer Graham King told Digital Spy: "I can tell you the working title is Mercury. Whether that ends up being the title of the movie we’re not sure yet."

King, currently promoting Martin Scorsese's Hugo, added: "He led such a big life and there’s just so much to tell. Then you've got all this fantastic music. You've got to fit that in. It's not an easy one to put together but I'm pretty confident we'll be shooting that next year."

The World's Youngest GM!

Hanson... beer?

MMM Hop is real. It's an India Pale Ale named in honor of Hanson's behemoth 1990s hit, "MMMBop". Many of Hanson's fans from the 1990s are drinking age. How they'll be able to toast to their favorite band with their new favorite brew.

“We of course make records, they are fundamental to what we do, but we wanted to create a brand so that our fans have a greater experience,” Zac Hanson said. Look for it in 2012.
