A woman has been jailed in Japan after forcing her 15-year-old daughter into prostitution in order to cover the spiralling cost of her mobile phone bills.The woman, 37, and her husband, 47, both from Wakayama in central Japan, forced the girl to have sexual intercourse with men in exchange for money after school as a means of covering the high monthly bills on her mobile phone.
On one occasion in February, she was made to perform an indecent sex act with a man in a hotel in exchange for 12,000 yen (£90), Wakayama Family Court heard.
