Dez Bryant boycotts carrying bags until Roy Williams starts catching passes
Receiver Dez Bryant has done everything right on the field during the first two days of Dallas Cowboys training camp, but he refuses to participate in an NFL rite of passage.
According to the rookie first-round pick, Roy Williams and the other veteran receivers can carry their own shoulder pads after practice.
Williams gave his pads to Bryant after Sunday's morning practice, but Bryant declined to carry them. Williams threatened to go to "step two" when talking to reporters.

The bionic legs Mulrooney discussed today
New Zealand isn't exactly known for being a hotbed of tech innovation, but this set of bionic legs might just realign that perception a little bit. The product of seven years of development work, the Rex exoskeleton is capable of supporting the full weight of a person -- making it suitable for paraplegics -- and moving him or her around in a familiar bipedal fashion.
It's operated using a joystick and control pad and is simple enough for handicapped users to self-transfer in and out of.
The best news, perhaps, is that it's about to go on sale in its home country this year, with an international launch following in 2011.

Mel Gibson has a passion for saying profane things
Mad Mel strikes again. Bad boy actor Mel Gibson was reportedly caught on tape erupting into a racist, profanity-laced tirade at his baby mama - the latest and ugliest development in the couple's bitter legal battle.
The audio clips are reportedly also laden with sickening threats. "I am going to come and burn the ******* house down," Gibson reportedly tells her. "How dare you act like such a ***** when I have been so ******* nice?"

If you've ever wanted to clone historical figures...
A lock of hair cut from Napoleon Bonaparte's head after he died has sold for US$13,000 (£8,663) at an auction in New Zealand.
Extra phone lines were installed for the sale to cope with an expected rush of international buyers seeking to snip up the hair cut from the head of former French Emperor a day after his death in 1821 while he was in exile on the island of St. Helena.
The circle of hair was part of a collection brought to New Zealand in 1864 by Denzil Ibbetson, a British commissary officer and artist.
